Take someone you know and locate him on the chart by finding one of the characteristics you know is true about the person. Then find his tone level on the chart and look at each of the boxes to the left and right of that tone level to discover more about that person.

Do this same procedure with other people you know or work with and repeat it until you have confidence in using the chart to predict another person’s behavior.
