COURSE GLOSSARY

assets: things that a company or business owns, including property, goods that can be sold, machinery, etc.

beingness: the result of having assumed an identity. It could be said to be the role in a game and an example of beingness could be one’s own name. Another example would be one’s profession. Another example would be one’s physical characteristics. Each or all of these things could be called one’s beingness. Beingness is assumed by oneself or given to oneself or is attained. For example, in the playing of a game each player has his own beingness.

communication: the exchange of ideas between people.

doingness: the performance of some action or activity.

effectively: in a way that produces the intended or expected result.

engineer: someone who operates a railroad engine, a large machine that pulls trains on railroad tracks.

ethical: acting according to principles of correct moral behavior.

morale: the mental and emotional attitude of an individual or a group and the amount of enthusiasm they show for the activity they are involved in.

post: a position, job or duty to which a person is assigned or appointed.

post: assign or appoint people to positions or jobs, as on an Org Board or for drills.

Preps Baker: someone whose job is preparing ingredients, such as flour and sugar, for a baker who will use them to make bread, cakes, cookies, etc.

route: direct a person or thing along a particular path or channel.

specialized: related to a specific type of work, task, etc.

system: an organized method or procedure for doing something.

viability: the ability of an organization to support itself and continue existing, for example, by exchanging its products for other things it needs.

workable: practical and able to be used effectively.
